Tentacular Territories

Tentacular Territories is interested in octopus farming at both experimental and industrial levels to examine how the entanglement of scientific, social, and economic practices within the field of aquaculture manufactures and brings forth multiple existences and more-than-human territories, as well as different versions of care linked to them. To this end, the research is framed within a multi-sited ethnography between Catalonia and Galicia, drawing inspiration from the intersection of Science and Technology Studies (STS) and multispecies studies.
