Álvaro Ramírez March

Álvaro Ramírez March was a Juan de la Cierva postdoctoral researcher affiliated with CareNet during the 2024–2025 academic year. He holds a PhD in ‘The Individual and Society in the Contemporary World’ from the Autonomous University of Barcelona (2022); he was a Margarita Salas postdoctoral researcher (University of Nottingham and University of the Basque Country – Euskal Herriko Unibertsitatea, 2022–2024) and is currently a lecturer in the Department of Social Psychology at the University of Barcelona (UB).

Her main areas of research are critical studies of migration and borders, collective memory, and qualitative and engaged research methodologies, which she approaches from a transdisciplinary perspective.
