I hold a PhD in Education from the University of Barcelona and a Diploma in Social Education from Ramon Llull University. I am an associate professor in Psychology and Education Sciences at the UOC. I am a member of the CareNet Research Group. Care and Preparedness in the Network Society (TRANSIC). My research focuses on Feminist Disability Studies, Critical Pedagogy and Social Anthropology. I have been a visiting professor at the University of Antioquia (Colombia), the Autonomous University of Mexico, the National Pedagogical University-Hidalgo (Mexico), the Austral University of Chile, and the National University of Entre Ríos (Argentina), among others. I have directed and participated in various competitive research projects for the national plan and other public bodies. I am currently leading the research project Democratic and Collective Care Networks: An Innovative Model of Community Mental Health Care (2026-2028). I am a collaborating professor in various master’s programmes at the Austral University of Chile (current accreditation). In 2023, I received the Museari Award, which recognises the work of professionals, institutions and groups in the defence of human rights and sexual diversity. Awarded in the teaching category. In 2019, I received the II Frederic Company i Franquesa Award for Pedagogical Essay. “Inclusion vs. segregation. Approaches from pedagogy”, with a mention from COPEC (Association of Pedagogues of Catalonia). In 2024, I received an internal scholarship from the UOC as part of the Research Intensification Programme for the period 2024-2026.
